By the end of 2020, there are 53 regular colleges and universities, 22 secondary vocational schools, 259 middle schools (including 202 junior high schools and 57 high schools), 384 primary schools, 1,010 kindergartens and 15 schools for special-needs education in Nanjing. There are also five schools for the children of foreigners in Nanjing.
