The highlights of the 2022 China (Nanjing) Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair were introduced thoughtfully at the press conference on 30th August.
The main venue of the 2022 China (Nanjing) Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair is located in the Nanjing International Expo Convention Center. Under the theme of “Invest in Golden Autumn, Energize A Bright Future”, the fair is closely related to the goal of building a model city of socialist modernization to satisfy the people in all respects and maintains the main task of “Opening-up and Development” followed as previous congresses.
Amidst the strict implementation of control measures against the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s fair will be an on-site occasion supplemented with online links. Relying on the Fair Cloud Platform, WeChat Mini Programs and others, the fair activities have been broadcasted live by video or photographs and texts, building online interactive scenes of project docking, contracts negotiation, and guest interaction.
The fair will invite relevant leaders of state ministries and departments, provincial and municipal leaders, some officials of foreign embassies and consulates in Shanghai, renowned academicians, and experts from home and abroad to attend activities.
At the same time, all responsible municipal departments shall spare no effort to promote services for key projects, and the progress of the ongoing projects. We cordially invited heads from leading multinational companies, Fortune 500 companies, top 500 enterprises in China, large state-owned enterprises, and well-known private companies, representatives of R&D institutions, and innovative and entrepreneurial talents, executives from banks, venture capital, private equity and other financial institutions, as well as domestic and foreign guests from business associations, industry associations, and media industry to attend the fair’s online and offline activities.
More than 10 municipal key activities will be held, including the opening ceremony of the Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair and the Digital Economy Summit, the 2022 Global Trade in Services Summit and the First International Digital Trade Summit, and the 2022 Nanjing International Summit on Innovation and Investment in Novel Medicine, Life Sciences & Health Care Industry.
Relevant municipal departments will focus on the “2+2+2+X” innovative industrial system and the industry development positioning led by administrative regions. With the main purpose of improving the investment environment, implementing commercial projects, and displaying achievements, over 20 activities will be held, including China’s AI Chip and Application of the New Track Research Conference and Nanjing Digital Chip City Launch Conference.
Centre on the major project cooperation and investment environment promotion, Nanjing Airport Economic Demonstration Zone (Lishui District) investment promotion conference and other thematic activities will also be held.
In addition, the fair will continue to set up theme exhibition areas in the main venue, building the corridor about achievements of high-quality development in Nanjing, and the city’s image interactive wall with the theme of “Decoding Nanjing”, highlighting “2+2+2+X” innovative industrial system results and prospects.
As the oldest, largest and most influential economic and trade exchange event sponsored by Nanjing municipal government, the China (Nanjing) Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair (hereinafter referred to as “the fair”) has been held for 32 consecutive sessions. The fair is an essential platform in Nanjing to promote the investment environment of high-quality development, gather high-end resource elements, promote regional economic and trade exchanges, and advance high-quality economic and social development.
